The RC-49MFSH is a chamber/platform assembly featuring a hybrid diamond/slotted bath shaped to promote laminar solution flow with field stimulation. The field stimulation electrodes are made from platinum, are terminated in 1 mm gold pins on both ends, and are easily replaced.
The chamber's natural, low volume laminar flow allows rapid exchange of solution facilitating drug application studies. O-rings on the chamber base form a quick seal on a standard 18 mm, #1.5 thickness coverslip.
The RC-49MFSH can be heated using our TC-324C / TC-344C temperature controllers, and uses Warner's Series 20 Stage Adaptersfor mounting onto a microscope.
Electric field stimulation is achieved by use of an optional STG Series or stimulator. Perfusion control is achieved by adding a VCS perfusion system. The DVW vacuum system can take care of the waste.
The RC-49MFSH includes a package of #1.5 thickness coverslips (CS-18R15), 10 feet of PE-160 polyethylene tubing, and spare o-rings.
