Product Summary

Initial tests showed the Custom 8250 glass to be equal to the Corning 7052 (a favorite among researchers performing patch clamping) in noise performance.

 

  • Same glass as Schott 8250
  • Seals were formed faster, and maintained for longer periods using 8250 glass
  • 8250 glass is manufactured without an inner filament
  • This glass is offered in both standard and premium models
  • The premium glass has fire-polished ends and is cleaned with deionized water before being packed in dust-free containers
  • OD's of 1.5 and 1.65 mm available
