Nearly every sector of business worldwide has been affected in some way by the Covid 19 pandemic. Harvard Bioscience and our various leading brands are no exception. Supply chains have been interrupted in a way that has made it exceedingly difficult to acquire parts, disrupting our ability to deliver certain products to customers. In addition, obtaining parts for some of our older instruments due to obsolescence has also affected our ability to adequately meet customer expectations.
Consequently, Harvard Bioscience will discontinue the manufacture and sale of some of our Warner instruments, but will honor any quotations that have already been submitted for your consideration. Support contracts will continue to be honored until the expiration of the contract and service, and repair will continue at a flat rate.
The affected Warner product lines include:
Microinjection products
Two-electrode voltage clamp (TEVC) amplifiers and accessories
Intracellular and differential amplifiers.
Please contact us by email or phone or reach out to your local sales representative for specific discontinued models.
We’ll continue to take orders for these products until September 15, 2022, and will honor any valid quotations that have already been submitted for your consideration.
In addition, we are planning to provide ongoing service and support for the affected instruments, including those that have already been purchased and installed (subject to the availability of service parts.) We’ll also provide consumables for these product lines to ensure you continue to use the systems you have, for as long as material stays available. Support contracts will remain available for these products.
We appreciate and value our business relationship and look forward to supporting your other life science needs. While we regret the inconvenience that this reduction in our product lines may cause, we are hopeful that we can continue to meet other requirements with our best-in-class solutions.
